fiduciary financial planning + investment management

it's time to stop guessing

I believe a financial strategy only truly works if it evolves with your life.

That’s why- aside from one-time financial audits- I work exclusively through ongoing annual planning relationships. These engagements are designed for continuity, depth, and year-round decision-making support.

I also offer investment management as an optional service within these financial planning relationships- but it’s never required.

And because I operate under a flat fee model, my advice and your support are aligned with your goals-not your portfolio balance.

I have two financial planning tiers:
-$10,000/year for non-business owners
–$15,000/year* for business owners
(*billable to the business for tax deductibility)

These fees reflect the depth of our engagement: comprehensive financial strategy, hands-on implementation, direct access, and on-retainer support with no asset minimums and no upsells.

If you’d like me to manage your investments as well, I charge 1% of assets under management (AUM)—and your AUM fee would offset up to 50% of your financial planning fee.

No small fish in the big pond. No hidden agendas. Just strategic partnership, built around what matters most: your life.

Are we right for each other?

I don’t identify my best fit clients by net worth or portfolio size.

Over the past 15 years I’ve built a practice and evolved my expertise to serve business owners and entrepreneurially-minded individuals who share a common mindset- people who move differently, think bigger, and expect more from their money.

They…
Think outside the box and question how things have always been done
Invest in real estate, the stock market- often both
Aren’t counting down to a traditional retirement- they’re building freedom on their own terms
Play by their own rules, not the ones others think they should follow
See money as a tool, not just a paycheck
Want to earn more and make it work harder
Are driven to build wealth and reclaim time-to enjoy what really matters
Value strategy over shortcuts, and clarity over guesswork
And, they hired us because they’d outgrown the one-size-fits all advice most people settle for and were sick of guessing

If you see yourself in these characteristics and are looking for a different kind of financial partnership- you are probably a great fit.

not ready for a long term relationship?

financial audit

A one-time deep-dive, expert review of your financial life- with zero agenda and 100% clarity

We both know the truth: your financial strategy is failing you

And it’s because most of your financial decision-making? You’re doing it alone- and you’re smart, but you’re no financial expert and your life is FULL.

On the surface it looks like you’re doing all the right things. You’re doing better than most. You’re successful, making money, saving, investing. You don’t do your own taxes. You’ve had a financial plan or two done and you’re currently working with an advisor. But the reality is you have no idea if your financial strategy is working for you as well as it could or should be. You have a sinking feeling that it isn’t

Maybe it’s…
A gut feeling you’re missing opportunities
A lingering doubt about your advisors depth
A fear that things look fine but aren’t actually aligned

It’s why you’re here reading this.

You’re not alone and you’re not crazy

Things are “fine” but you want optimized. And you deserve it.

That’s where a Financial Audit comes in

This isn’t a pitch. It’s not a free discovery call disguised as a sales funnel. It’s a paid, expert-level, fully independent financial analysis. My brain on your money, built for one thing: to give you total clarity on how your current financial plan is really performing and whether it’s truly working for you.

You’ll leave with
– A full, step by step analysis of your investments and current financial setup
– A clear-eyed view of what’s working, what’s not, and where you’re exposed
– A prioritized list of missed opportunities, risks, or inefficiencies
– A custom list of powerfully worded questions to bring back to your advisor
-All of this in english (i.e. no complicated charts and jargon you don’t understand)

You can use this to either confirm you’re in great hands and double down with confidence, or realize it’s time for a change before you lose another year to suboptimal strategy that seems fine but quietly costs you

Turnaround for the completed audit is 8-12 weeks, during which time we’ll have 3 video calls together (recorded for your reference)
Cost: $5,000 personal or $7,500* business owner (*billed to the business for tax deductibility)

a final note from Nicky

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned in 15 years of running this business?
It’s shockingly hard to get someone—even someone you pay a lot of money—to actually care about your business. And when they don’t, it’s maddening.

Everyone says, “You get what you pay for,” so you pay more…
Only to find out that nope—you still don’t get what you pay for. 😬

Not to be all doom and gloom here, but I think it’s important to name it.

I vividly remember learning that my accountant made mistakes early in my business that cost me tens of thousands of dollars. At the time, revenue was unpredictable and I was skipping my own salary to make payroll and cover overhead. I was doing the right things—hiring professional help, paying for expertise—and still, I was just another tax return on someone’s desk.

That experience is exactly why I built my financial planning service the way I did—intentionally.

High-touch. High-support. No gatekeepers.

Just direct access, clear communication, and a small client roster that allows for deep focus, transparency, and real attention to the details that matter most: your money, your values, your goals.

It’s not technically my job to review my clients’ personal and business tax returns. But I do.

It’s not my job to email their accountants, hop on calls, or investigate confusing line items. But I do.

It’s not my job to take ongoing tax trainings and courses to increase my own literacy—so I can catch things others miss. But I do.

(And now I hear Lisa Loeb in my head. I digress.)

Why?
Because taxes are one of the biggest—and most overlooked—money leaks for high earners and business owners.
Because spotting one mistake or planning opportunity can mean hundreds of thousands of dollars back in your pocket.
Because I’ve helped clients secure six-figure refunds from the IRS after others missed critical details.

I do it because I want my clients to know: I care about your money like it’s my own. I’m paying attention. And I’m here to help you keep more of what you earn—to spend, save, and invest in the life you’re building.

And if you’re new here, one thing you should know:

I only work with 50 financial planning clients per year—and many have been with me for over a decade.

It’s important to me that we genuinely like each other, because this is a long-term relationship for most.

That’s why the exploratory process is structured the way it is:

Partly to make sure we’re a great fit personally—and partly so I can be absolutely sure I can deliver value that’s aligned with your investment.

I’m a fiduciary, which means I’m legally and ethically obligated to act in your best interest. That obligation doesn’t just apply after you sign a contract—it starts in our very first conversation.

If it becomes clear that I can’t provide meaningful value for your planning fee, I won’t make an offer to move forward.

And even if you are a great fit—there’s zero pressure.

No hard sell. No urgency tactics.

I only want to work with clients who are genuinely excited to work with me, too.

So if you’re curious, take the next step and fill out your profile so we can get a call on the books.

Nicky.
